what we were asked
Create an identity for Royal Bafokeng Economic Board that both represented the economic segment and referenced the tribe’s beloved crocodile.
what we did
The Bafokeng tribe were known as the ‘People of the Dew’ for settling on fertile land and amassing great wealth as a result.
This was translated to a logo made up of dew drops forming the crocodiles’ tail. The logotype mimics the texture of crocodile skin.
Printing in three colours cut print costs and gave depth and vividness to the drops which CMYK printing could not achieve.
