what we were asked
Establish South African wine as premium quality and South African Premium Wines as the go to place for quality South African wine. As an umbrella brand it had to work in one colour and reduce well for placement on labels and packaging of the various sub-brands eg. Jabulani.​​​​​​​
what we did
The name was long, but was kept as one line for drama and simplicity. The ‘U’ in ‘South’ was turned into a tilted wine glass filled with red wine creating a smile in every wine lovers’ mind.  
It worked well in one colour and very small applications for easy and unobtrusive placement on packaging.
